For Commissioner Beat No. Two.
I am announcing for re-election
for Commissioner of Beat No. 2. I
have held this office for one term. I
have done my best and what I have
done is an open book before you. I
have had to work under trying cir-
cumstances. The county was in
debt when I wras elected the frist time
ancris stilr m debt, and’ I-aih-aatisfieri-
it will be when I go out of office af-
ter my second term if I am re-elected.
The county is in debt as you all know
sftid has been ever since the court
house was first built. We have en-
deavored to be as economical as pos-
sible. If re-elected I will know
more about my duties as a commis-
sioner and as you all know an expe-
rienced hand has the advantage over
an inexperienced one.
If re-elected I promise you to give
you better service and I shall do my
best to bring Shelby county to the
forefront as much as possible from a
financial standpoint.
