Thomas Halcomb, 72,
Funeral Services Held
Friday Afternoon
Walter Thomas Halcomb passed
away in the City-County Hospital
Monday morning at 4:40. He lived
in the Higgins community a few
miles east of McKinney; was born
in Collin County; married Mary El-
len Betterton Feb. 14, 1898. The
following children and his wife sur-
vive: Mrs Donnie Staples, Prince-
ton, Mrs. Nellie Underwood, McKin-
aey, Mrs. Hazel Linebough, McKin-
ney, Mrs. Rachel Horton, Elkhart,
Mrs. Nellie Trusty, McKinney, and
Linton and Leon Halcomb, both at
home.
Funeral services were held Tues-
■ day afternoon at the Forest Grove
1 Church, with burial in Fitzhugh
Cemetery. Rev. W. S. Miltori of-
ficiated. Crouch - Moore Funeral
Home was in charge , ,of arrange-
ments.
