ing of the group Thursday after-
noon at the home of Barclay Bogel.

event of Thursday morning was the
coffee at which Mra. William E.
MacMahon entertained, honoring
her mother, Mrs. W. T. Daniel, of
Birmingham. Alabama on her sixty-
ninth birthday.
A color theme of pink with hint*
of blue was used throughout the
guest suite, with roses, gladioli,
aweetpeas and potted plans, most
of them gifts to the honoree, being
noted.

DONNA — On Thursday after-
noon. Miss Sylvia Yaws entertained
the Donna Sub Deb club at her
home on North Fourth street. Mar-
jory Helen Boaz, president, was in
charge. Plans were made for a
Valentine dance to be given by the
Sub Debs, on the night of Feb. 14
Committees were appointed to make
arrangements for the dance. The
girls then drew names for Sub Deb
pals.”

WESLACO — Mrs. Bell Cook en-
tertained with bridge at the home
of Mrs. W. M Jenkines. Tuesdav

club. Roses were beautifully ar-
