■ fact she has suffered 39 breaks in
jher legs.
Currently, she is resting at the
! home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
I Glenn Peck and catching up on
\ her homework after missing eon-
\ side ruble schooling because of her
ic.ost recent fracture.
Janelle has a smile for everyone.
She always thinks that each break
will be her last.
Three years ago the girl's coudi-
tion was at its worst and the
slightest quick move was likely to
r< suit in a fracture.
Until three years ago, all the
I breaks occourrect in the right leg.
[ Mince then, all breaks have been in
I the left leg. The latest one oc- |
| curred simply because she over-
reached while sitting in her wheel
chair at District 30 school, which
shi attends.
The school is only a few rods
from her parents' house. Her fa-
ther carries her to and from school
daily.
She has one wheel chair for use
around home and another is kept
at the school house.
Janelle has braces on both legs
all the time.
Physicians say she has an im-
perfect bone condition caused by
a glandular deficiency.
