There were 16 vert*ons lynched In
1925. This uundHiK, ranking with the
nunilter 10 for 1924 as the smallest
number of persons lynched in any
since records of lynchings have
been kept.
Is 17 less than the numilier 33 for
1923, and 41 less than the number
57 for 1922.
Two of the victims were insane.
Three others had been formerly
released by the courts; 10 of the pep
sons lynched were taken from the
hands of the law, 2 from Jails and 8
from officers of the law outside of
Jails.
Two of those lynched were burned

Mrs. Handers told how mothers
should raise their girls correctly.
More rules and resolutions were
adopted jtt this meeting and Mrs. Roy

dues.
