pipe lines In 11X25 was 142,018,151.00
barrels, according to the Oil and Oaa
Division of the Railroad Commission.
The first three months of this year
showed a decline of over four million
barrels compared to the same months
of last year but March production
was over 1,800,000 barrels ahead of
Februray.
Atascosa County production was 0,-
455 barrels; Bexar County 4,504 bar-
rels; Harris County 425,010 barrels;
Jefferson County 70,755 barrels, East-
land 162,805 barrels.

eries Company of Galveston has filed

collection of taxes on red snapper fish
caught outside of Texas waters, alleg-

Treasurer’s Statement
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wren were called
to Iola Monday afternoon to attend
the funeral of Mrs. J. W. Mallett, a
niece of Wr. Wren. Miss Trannie,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Kan-
dern. wax born In Iola Sept. 14, 1895.
She Joined the Baptist Church at the
age of 13. In 1913 she married J. W.
Mallett of Iola, and that place
been their home since, except a short
time a year ago, when her falling
health caused them to seek a higher
climate in West Texas. But her
health continued to decline, and they
came back to Iola. She died Sunday
night. She leaves a husband and two
daughters, Carmen and Vivian, aged
10 and 7 years resi>ectively. She was
buried Monday afternoon at Iola amid
a large assemblage of sorrowing rela-
tives and friends.—Normangee Star.
