liams' sisters, Mrs. Meredith and Mrs.
Nannie Steele.
The younger set enjoyed a party at
Mrs. Bradley's on Tuesday night.
This seems to be “moving week” at
Millican. Mr. Wilkes and family have
moved to Houston; Mrs. Aline Smith,
her son Allen, and her father, Dr.
Smith have moved to Hearne; Walter
smith and wife have moved into the
home belonging to Mrs. Aline Smith;
Walter Smith has sold his home near
the Burrows’ store to Mrs. Jim Steele;
Mrs. Steele* will move back from Nava-
sota this week. We welcome Mrs.
Steele and “Sammy” back to our com-
munity.
The Baptist meeting begins on Tues-
day night of June 22. Bro. Winiaor
of Waco, the pastor, will conduct the
meeting. We will be glad for Nava-
sota friends to come to our services;
help us have a good meeting.
