Dear Sir,
We are only today in receipt of your letter
of November 21st and, in reply, hasten to inform you as
follows :-
The package which you mention in your letter
was sent by first class mail on the 30th of September and
as long as it was not registered, we naturally do not hold
any receipt for same. However, in looking through our
records, we find that your account was debited with the sum
of 590 fcs. for stamps, and we assume that this represents
the forwarding charges of said package, as this debit dates
from the 30th of September also.
We are surprised that it has not yet reached
essrs. Willoughbys on November the 21st, but we hope that
by now they will have received same.
