HELD IN HALL MONDAY
Mrs. Boyd Winn and Miss Win-

Bowie Art League Monday, in an
all-day meeting held, in the base-
ment of the City Auditorium.
The group painted a number

birthday celebration
with a program

stationd for some time.

Del Rio, Texas. The Captain is• (‘ember 4, 1921, in Young County,
and later moved to Montague
county with his parents ahd re-
sided near Stoneburg.
Sufvivors include his wife,
(formerly fCfiss Ida Belle Holder),
two daughters, Rosie and Jean-
nette; one son, Alva, all of
Bowie; his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
A. D. Clayton, two- brothers,
Ewell and Junior Lee Clayton;
three sisters, Faye, Rubye and
Shirley Clayton; his grandpar-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Clayton,
all of Antplope, Texas.

Vashti for fifty-five years, died
at her residence there Saturday
afternoon, following a lingering
illness.
