a few minutes after the Lions' Club opened the summer recreation
season for. kids, under the direction of Lloyd Wood. . The pool is
crowded five davs a week, and this is just one o‘f many features
embodied in this far reaching program..

of “home-made," home-paid paving on Washington Avenue, finished
ip the other day.. The property owners on the block got tired of
the mud ahd dust and hired trucks to haul Jn crushed rock that
was covered then'^witli fine crushed limestone dust that is
hardening and making what they claim is a very good paving
and that is Economical. No curb was made however. Property
owners in the b.l< ck include. Alvin Stambaugh, Mark- High, Benton

altar by her 'father.
