their aunt in Duncan, Okla., Fri-
day.

stationed at the Air Force Base
in Amarillo and is the son of Mr.

Loyd Price of Garden Grove,
Calif., visited his mother, Mrs.
Linda Price and also visited his
mother and father-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Johnnie Free, during the
week-end. Mr. Price had been to
Houston to attend a convention
of Shell Pipe Line Co., with
whom he is employed.

Meets Monday
The Brotherhood of the First
Baptist Church will meet Mon-
day, May ^9 in the church base-
ment.
Supper will be served at 8:30
p.m. followed by a program pre-
sented by Frank Collier and fea-
turing Rev. Norman Gardner,
pastor at Montague, who will be
the principal speaker for the
evening.
All men who are interested in

The bride wore a white street
length dress of white embroider-
ed cotton, fashioned with a bouf-
fant skirt, and carried 'a white
Bible topped with pink carna-
tions.
The young couple will live in
Bridgeport, and will be at. home
there after ii short wedding trip
to points in East Texas.
The groom graduated from
Bridgeport High. School in 1958 ’
and is employed as timekeeper
at Gifford-Hill Rock Crusher.
The bride was a 1959 Chico
graduate, and has been employ-
ed in Bridgeport until last week.
A reception was held after the
wedding, with Mrs. Billy Jack
Evans and Miss Sharon Denton
presiding at the refreshment ta-
ble.
Other than the parents of the
couple, guests were Mr. and Mrs.
W. N. Cobb with June and Jan,
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Denton with
Sharon and Paula, Mrs, H. L.

the Easley home in Bridgeport.
The Rev. John Baker, pastor of
the Bridgeport Baptist Church,
officiated at the ceremony, and
Harvey and Larry Weatherly,
nephews of the groom, were
candleiighters.

Henry C. Butler
Bites Wednesday
Henry d*Butler, 79. died Mon-
day. May 22. at his home follow-
ing a heart attack.
Born in Greenville, he had
been a resident of Bellevue and
Bowie most of his life.
Survivors include his widow,
Mary Ann; a daughter, Miss El-
len Butler of Bowie; a brother,
R. A. Butler of Chillicothe;
three sisters, Mrs. Foster of
Brenham, Mrs. Lena Reynolds
of Portales. New Mexico, and
Mrs. Christian Corely of Lub-
bock.
Funeral services were held at
2 p.m, Wednesday, May 24, from
Burgess Memorial. chapel Burial
was at McDonald cementery..
Pallbearers were: C. T. Wells,
Ray Harlow, Thufmari Baker,
Jimmy Craft, J. J. Green and
Vester White.
