Section 1st."
- Every person firm or corporation
who ' carries on the trade business or
occupation of a wholesale dealer in live
domestic fowls or poultry In the City
of El Paso El Paso county. Texas
shall hereafter carry on such business
trade or occupation within the limits
following towit; and not elsewhere

Section 3rd:
Nothing in this ordinance contained
shall authorize any person firm tr
corporation to keep on hand any live
domestic fowls or poultry in any por-
tion of the City of El Paso in excess
of the number now allowed by ordi-
nance to be kept In such portion.
Section 4th:
Any person firm or corporation who
shall violate any portion of this ordi-
nance shall be fined In any sum not
less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more
than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for
each offence and each and every day
such violation shall continue or exist
shall constitute a separate offence and
be punishable as such.
Section 5th:
Whereas the carrying on the busi-
ness trade or occupation of a whole-
sale dealer in the said City of El Paso
outside of the district hereinabove es-
tablished In live domestic fowls or
poultrv is a nuisance threatening the
public" health and gravely affecting the
public comfort;
THEREFORE a case of great public
emergency exists which requires the
suspension of the Charter rule that all
ordinances before final adoption shall
be read in open meeting of the City
council at two regular meetings there-
of and said rule with the consent of
the Mayor and by the unanimous vote
of the aldermen present is here now
suspended and this ordinance 'shall
