We have had a few light frosts
since the rain.
Cotton has not been damaged
much by the late rains and the
frost.
Jim Lewis has moved
his barn into his beautiful new
dwelling. Jim says if he don’t
like to live in the house he will
move back to the barn. It is the
opinion of most of us that he will
stay in the dwelling.
The Methodist Church held
conference at Prairie Mound last
Saturday, Elder Roach Presid-
ing. Elder Roach is the kind of
a Christian gentleman that
makes you feel stronger when
you meet him and a better
Christian when you hear him
preach.
The writer had the pleasure of
mingling with the good people of
the White-Priddy community at
their new church house last Sun-
day. These people have the
right idea of life, at least, their
beautiful new church and the
large storm house at their
house, points in that direction.
