met Friday and discussed plans for an

The Robert E. Lee chapter of the
United Daughters of the Confederacy
gave a musical entertainment Sunday
afternoon for the Veterans of the Con-
federacy at their monthly meeting in
the parlors of the Elks' dub. A brief
business meeting of the veterans was
first held at which plans were made
for the observation of Memorial day

M. Coblentz was a passenger for New
York on the Golden State limited Fri-
day. Dr. M. P. Schuster will leave today
for Houston to attend the state medi-
cal association convention.
