Chevrolet Has Trouble
Filling Orders lor Cars
According to Coiin Camflf>ell
vice president of Chevrolet Motor
Co. unfilled orders for Chevrolet
cars are rapidly piling up. August
is expected to be another record
month with production in excess of
15000 cars. “Our reports by wire
-how a resumption of buying power
in many of the western and south-
western districts" he declares.
•Dallas hanks are showing a 10 per
cent increase in savings for July.
“I have just returned from a ten
day trip through Illinois Iowa and
Nebraska. The outstanding thing I
noticed was that there is less talk
about the farmers’ troubles inside
the wheat areas than outside. Many
farmers say certain demajfojfue*
usinp the price of wheat for polit-
ical propojfanda."

InT 1922 Chevrolet jumped from seventh to •cnotKf
place in sales of all cars and to first place in aales
i oilfolly equipped modern cars.
Purchases by farmers were the chief hdorh thk
remarkable development.
Farmers want automobiles not only of low fint
price but also of low later cost for operation «n4t
maintenance*
They want room comfort and the ability to stand
up under hard conditions.
They find that Chevrolet fully equipped as sold is
the best value per dollar in the low-priced field and
neighbors tell them it costs less per mile to operate.
