lieved presently through delivery of
Mexican sugar In bond in SI Paso to
local merchants according to Felix

forts to get sugar across the Rio
Grande.
The Mexican government has
quoted El Paso merchants a price of
approximately T1.M per hundred
pounds on this sugar. The duty

New York. Dec. Reporters were
barred from Ellis Island today. While
passes have been granted on the
ferryboat heretofore without ques-
tion. Byron H. UhL acting rommls-
sioner said the officials were so busy
today that tl-e usual privilege could
not be accorded. He said he had re-
ceived from Washington orders to de-
port 30 anarchists but the method
and the time had not yet been speci-
fied. Vhl added that he did not know
whether the deportations would take
place today. A trainload of anarchists
leaving Pittsburg tonight he said
would be housed In a large detention
room with Berkman and most of the
other Reds
