opened barely steady today at a de-
cline of 1 to 4 points on southern and
local selling promoted by relatively
easy Liverpool cables. Msy sold fir

Trade interests were buyers believ-
ed to be partly for foreign account
but the selling continued and prices
were barely steady at the end of the
first half hour with active months
showing net losses of about 4 to 6
points. March sold off to 661 and
October to 7 17.
