Governor Knight declined to reopen the case soon after he be-
came Governor. I filed last year another appeal with the now
governor. But it is my judgement that it was never submitted
to hita, that he had no opportunity to revie it, that it was
handled by one of his secretaries, *r. Poole. I am no attorney.
1 r. Jones cannot employ coimsel. I feel deeply that executive
clemency is warranted, and, if properly presented, would be
favorably acted upon.
