A letter written to Mr. T. N. Carswell, Abilene, Texas, from J. A. Schneck, General Delivery, T. J. Tidwell Shows, Brownwood, Texas/Mineral Wells, Texas, dated March 8, 1941. Schneck confirms the plans for a show the week of March 17th, under the auspices of the Post. The reverse sides includes handwritten notes: "First be true to thineself, Thou canst then be false to any man" - "Aint no such thing as a back slide".

T. N. Carswell Collection
This collection was assembled by Thomas Norwood Carswell (1887-1978) and contains correspondence throughout his life. His files hold letters signed by most of the major political leaders of Texas during the 1940s through the 1960s, as well as letters signed by Presidents Harry S Truman, Richard M. Nixon, Senator Lyndon B. Johnson, and George Washington Carver. It also contains a scrapbook of his time at Simmons College.
