likes Elvis Presley, the answer
will probably be a scathing,
“NO!”
But let that same girl hear one
of Elvis’ records, and what
happens? Her eyes glaze over;
she kicks her heels; she begins
to foam at the mouth; she rolls
over and over; and all the while
Elvis is telling her she “Ain’t
Nothing But a Hound Dog.”
One of Elvis’ hits was titled “I
Got A Woman.” What I want to
know is, since this boy came to
town, who’s got la woman left?”
(Copied from 1957 West

It is astounding that now after
Elvis’ death last month at age
42, his charisma still affects the
girls in the same way that Mike
observed twenty years ago.
