HARVARD CLASS OF 1924 Thirtieth Anniversary Report Secretary J. DELAFIELD DuBoIs Top FLOOR, WIDENER LIBRARY CAMBRIDGE 38, MASS. October 23, 1953 DEAR CLASSMATE: We must now start work on the Thirtieth Anniversary Report in order that you may have it in hand before our reunion next June. It is to be a brief record of the events of each man's life since our last Report was published in 1949. The Harvard University Class Report Office will handle the printing and all material must be in their hands as soon as possible. Please fill out and return the enclosed questionnaire in the enclosed envelope. If you do so promptly, we shall avoid the expense and trouble of a follow-up letter. We are starting almost a month later than is usual because I have assured the Class Report Office that members of the Class of 1924 never procrastinate. Why not mail the questionnaire on the day you receive this and get it out of the way? Fritz Schwarz resigned as Class Secretary when he went to Germany this spring as General Counsel to the U. S. High Commissioner. He should return before our reunion and I hope that he will then be reelected Secretary to pre- side over the preparation of all future Reports. Very truly yours,
