through what is known as "Wood-
land Heights” the other day,
and was surprised at what has
been wrought here of late in this
addition to Lufkin. And one of
the greatest points is that it is
not situated "clean out of the
world,” but consists of what may
be rightfully termed the most
desirable and easily accessable
residence property in the town.
Many of the streets have been
laid off, the trees pulled up and
gotten out the way, those not
needed in the beautifying of the
grounds, concrete sidewalks ex-
tended in many directions, and
some as neat cottages as exist in
the city have recently been built
on some of these lots, and are
