or four ounces, net; one half pound, or
eight ounces, net; one full pound, or
sixteen ounces, net; and it shall be un-
lawful for anyone in this state to en-
gage in the business of selling butter
in any other size package or containers
to the public, other than the sizes here-
in mentioned; provided, however, that
the standards established shall not ap-
ply to the sale of butter in bulk; and
I do hereby establish the above stand-
ards as standards for commercial use
in the sale of butter in this state, from
and after April 1st, A. D. 1920.
In testimony whereof, I have here-
unto signed my name offieialy and
have caused the seal of my office to be
affixed hereto this the Oth day of
March, A. D. 1920.

Kansas City, May 10.— FiFve un-
masked robbers today held up the store
room of a former saloonkeeper at 1

Officer Helsley went t<> make obser-
vations of the high water in East Buf-
falo creek Sunday night and found the
ereek bankfull. At six o’clock Mon-
day morning he went back and found
the water high in the street.
Mr. Helsley stated that Samuel W
Weatherred, 108 Kouns street, lost 50
chics and chiekens in the flood. Mr.
Weatierred said that an old cat that
had been locked in a small coal house
had shown mother instinct by moving
her four kittens to the highest peak of
coal. The water rose as high as her
neek, but she held the four kittens
mi th coal peak with her feet. Had
the water rose a few inches higher the
tour kittens would have been drowned.
The mother cat and four kttens were
reseued.
