Membership in the Order
is recognized around the world
as a distinction and an honor in
which any funeral director may
well take pride. It is an assur*
ance to the public that the service
offered is truly “measured not by

WEEK-END FISH POND — The
Cleburne Garden Club decided .
that they would like a fish pond
at a certain spot in the garden
of Mrs. S. Monroe Winn, 1005
North Main Street, for their an-
nual spring flower show. Mrs.
Ola Lee, Mrs. A. T. Quattlebaum,
and Mrs. Finis Johnson made the
fish pond from a wide, metal
bowl, rocks, and clumps of flow-
ers — added a turtle and a frog
— and presented it to the pub-
lic. Few realized it wasn’t a sta-
tionary model. Shown, left to right
are Mrs. W:son r, Betts, Mrs.
Graham, Mrs. Winn, Mrs. Lee,
Mrs. J. M. Wylie, standing; and
Mrs. Quattlebaum.
Mrs. Bell Mingus, Mrs. Leonard
Brown and Mr. and Mrs. John
Daggs, attended funeral services
for Frank Daggs, of Hollis, Okla.,
at 3 p. m., Monday at Whitney.
Mrs. Ben Flynn, of Alexandria,
La., is the house guest of Mr. and
Mrs. Ira Clements. The brunch
which was to hostessed by Mrs.
Clements, honoring Mrs. Flynn, has
been cancelled.
