Service Auxiliary, St. Anne's Guild, Helpers of the Holy Souls, and the
Opera Guild. She was honored by her bishop with membership as a Lady
in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre. She was also a member of
the Los Angeles Country Club, Santa Anita Turf Club, and the Town Club.
Not only did she travel extensively throughout Europe, but she also
joined her daughter and son and their families on camping trips, water ski-
ing jaunts, a fishing outing in Alaska, and a float trip on the Middle Fork
of the Salmon River.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Joe
Costello; her son and daughter-in-law, Phelps and Sally Wood; and by nine
grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Joseph Eloi Broussard, Jr.,
and a sister, Sister Rita Estelle. When Regina Wood died on June 2, 1984,
she was then survived by her sister Loretta Casey, whose death followed
within seven months, in December 1984.
Members of her family who preceded her in death, in addition to her
husband and her parents, were her brother Clyde Broussard, and her sisters
Marie Weir, Genevieve Dutton, Bertha Roane, and Ruth Polk.[Vol. XXI, No. I
