Pneumatic Truck Tires Vill
Soon Be In Demand In Valley
Believes Local Tire Mechanic
THE wonderful benefit of lie irrigation canals put in operation by the
reclamation service in the upper and lower valleys will not only pro-
duce enormous results for the fanner but will also create great opportunities
for the tracking and tire business is the opinion of Walter E. PofabJ man-
ager of the Mission garage.
"Some fanners and fruit growers in this section already have their own
tracks" says Mr. PofahL "How it is not an experiment with then because
they have already realized ranch on their investment.
"The time is not far distant with these new canals and increased plant-
ing territory when extraordinary shipments will hare to be handled effi-
ciently and quickly.
"Fruit growers of the state of Florida have experimented in much the
same manner as our own people here. They used to use trucks with solid
tires but discovered that with these tires they could not negotiate the sandy
fields the wet clay and muddy roads where poor traction would stall their
trucks.
"The pneumatic cord truck tire is displacing the solid tire because the
fruit growers over in Florida have found out by actual experience that it
means saving in gasoline time repairs and with the produce itself."

Time Of Repairing Big
Element In Saving
Says Repairman Rader
"It Is not enough to take your auto
to a first class repairman for an over-
hauling. It must be taken In time
as well as to the right workman. If
the auto owner would make it pay.
Putting off the Job for a month when
It needs overhauling means the loss
of another six months or a year's use
of a car many times."
This Is the pointed statement of
Charles Rader El Paso's pioneer re-
pairman. Repairmen are agreed that
the total losses in EI Paso for a year
from waiting too long to reach the
shop are enormous.

Dodge Brothers designed litis Busi-
ness Car early in the war with a defi-
nite purpose.
They realized that individuals and
corporations would be compelled to
increase their facilities for truck
transportation.
The great need therefore was bound
to be a business car to which business
interests could quickly tum with
complete confidence.
Dodge Brothers aimed to attach to
their Business Car the same elements
of certainty which have been taken
for granted on their passenger
models.
They sought primarily sure steady
consistent performance freedom
from repair and a very low haulage
cost.
Dodge Brothers have no hesitation
in saying to the business men of
America that they can buy this
Business Car with absolute' assurance
of the outcome.
It will prove a long-time steady pay-
ing investment to any individual or
corporation whose business requires
swift and safe transportation.
