The new potato curing plant
erected by Mr. J. R. Penn, beside
the Cotton Belt railroad in the
northern purt of the city is near

The plant is a frame structure
with concrete floor, .dimensions
10x100 feet, with a capacity of
20,000 bushels of potatoes.
A forced air process will be
used for curing the potatoes.
The plant will be ready for op-
eration about Sept. 15th in plen-
ty of time for this year's harv-
est.
