Bellville's Brahmas will hoat
the A. & M. Consolidated Tigers
Friday night in a contest which
will name the 1957 District 23-AA
champion.
Entering the battle with a
season record of three wins and
five defeats, Bellville, which waa
the pre-season favorite to win
the crown, will have its hands
full with the Tigers, who have
won six games while losing
three. All of Bellville’s wins
have been in district play, hav-
ing lost all of their non confer-
ence games to strong class AA
and AAA opponents.
Bounding out district play for
this season will be a clash be-
tween Cypress - Fairbanks and
Caldwell for third place in dis-
trict standings. Caldwell win be
the host team and will be fa-
vored to break the tie between
these two teams, who have won
one district game each while
losing two.
