The game seemed to rock
back and forth between the
two 30 yard line stripes with the
Rattlers getting a noticeable
edge over the Tigers. ,
A slight let-down could be ob-
served in the play for the Rat-
tlers in the third quarter as
compared to their play in the
first half.
The deciding play of the game
turned out to be the fourth down
and one-yard situation on which
Rattler Quarterback Mike Mason
decided to gamble. The try was
slopped by the Katy defense. ’
The Tigers immediately start-
ed a 50 yard drive to pay dirt
with a 35-yard play gettiRg the
Tigers Into scoring position. The
play covered 3 yards. Katy Left
Halfback went over for the two
point conversion on a dive play
through the center of the Rat-
tler defenses.
