The juries in thia county
have not taken the attitude of
those in Dallas and other cities.
There it was impossible to find
a jury to send a man to the
penitentiary. They took the
attitude that if it was not
criminal to possess whiskey in
Louisiana, for example, it could
not be a crime in Texas. The
jury here however has de-
termined to stick by the letter
of the law while the law
stands, which is as it should
be. Until laws are repealed
they should be enferced.
