SUPREME COURT UPHOLDS COPYRIGHT LAWS
WASHINGTON (AP) - The
Supreme Court on Wednesday
upheld a law that retroactively
extended copyrights protecting
the profits of songs, books and
cartoon characters. It was a huge
victory for Disney and other com-
panies.
The 7-2 ruling, while not unex-
pected, was a blow to Internet
publishers and others who want-
ed to make old books available
online and use the likenesses of a
Mickey Mouse cartoon and other
old creations without paying high
royalties.
COMING UP

Michaelree interviews NARC star Ray

Millionaire" is either Television's next
best thing or next best flop.

Remember begging your par-
ents to take you to Chuck E.
Cheese's so that you could eat
large amounts of pizza, play
games and buy ridiculous prizes
with the tickets you earned from
those games? Remember when
you stopped doing that? Boy,
was that a mistake. The new

isn't 'Chucky Cheese,' a very
common mistake), which is

Chuck
E. Cheese's is
experience from the moment
you step out of your car until
you leave. Before playing any
games, it's time to order some
dinner. The menu has a surpris-
ingly large selection of items.
The game selection isn't large,
but plenty fun.
