Thank you very much for your kind letter
of June 12th.
Since you allowed me to give you details
of items that I think might be susceptible of trade develop-
mdnt, I take the liberty of mentioning the following facts
to you:
Shingles, which are manufactured here
and which seem to be very scarce in the United States
should find much interest in Texas. Therefore, if you
happen to know of any yards for building materials or of
any wholesaler in this line who wants to assure his
supply of shingles for some time to come, I would appre-
ciate it, if you suggested to him to get in touch with me.
I certainly appreciate your great kind-
ness and the interest you take in my matters and wish to
