NT will host the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns, the University of Louisiana at Monroe Warhawks and the University of New Orleans Privateers on Friday Saturday and Sunday respectively. The Mean Green is currently eighth in the Sun Belt Conference with a 6-8 conference record. The conference tournament, which begins Nov. 15 in Denver, accepts the top eight teams in the conference. The Arkansas State Lady Indians own the ninth spot in the conference with a 5-9 record and will finish its last four games on the road. NT will need to finish with a better record than the Lady Indians to receive an invitation to the tournament. The Mean Green 44 it's good to have these three games at home. -Cassie Headrick Head coach Volleyball Center is where the team "feels most comfortable," said senior outside hitter Brooke Engel. "It's good to have these three games at home," Head Coach Cassie Headrick said. "We've been on the road for three weeks and we're tired, now we can concentrate on what we need to." Also, playing three games in three days will be much easier when it is done on a home court said senior libero lessica Hulsebosch. "It can be exhausting to play that much on the road," she said. "But since were at home, we'll do fine." NT will first host a Ragin' Cajuns team that is 3-11 in conference and 4-25 overall. The Ragin' Cajuns owned a 10-match road losing streak before beating the Warhawks on Sunday. The Mean Green will face a Warhawks team Saturday that has yet to win a game this season. The team is currently last in the Sun Belt with a 0-13 record and 0-26 overall. Headrick described both visiting teams as "similar, both are aggres- sive on the defensive side." Headrick said that the Privateers, whom NT will face Sunday, is "very physical, and we need to be ready for them." The Privateers own the sixth spot in the Sun Belt with an 8-5 confer- ence record and a current two-match win streak.
