espionage act, and arrested "Elder"

and Frank N- Douglas of Franklin-
ton. Pa. The books, the agents said,

The deadly spinning nose dive, ipost
hazardous of all aerial acrobatics,
claimed two more victims near Fort
Worth yesterday afternoon. Lieuten-
ant R. J. Burley. 87 Hyden Street,
Toronto, and W. Miles, mechanic, 8.

don. N. W, England, were killed when
the plane, piloted by the lieutenant,
was thrown into the spinning nose
dive 300 feet up- It is declared by
inemnbers of the Royal Flying Corps
who saw the crash near Everman Fly-
ing Field, that the aviators were
doomed from the instant the plane
entered into the spin.
A "verticle bank” that was too

of the accident to have been the
