that Savings Bonds sales for
September totaled $18,464.
“Sales for the first nine months
of IMO were $287,646 or 70.2%
of the yearly goal," Vogelpohl
said.

amounted to $12,081,059 dur-
ing September. This represents
an increase of 12.8% over Sep-
tember 1959.

the funeral of her nephew, Lee
Lewis Frank, forty-nine years
of age, Friday afternoon at four
o’clock, in the Heights Chapri.

the South Park Cemetery.

The Book Club met with Mrs.

October 27th. Her home, always
pretty and attractive, was en-

sion, bingo was played, creat-
ing much fun. At the close of

Low net was the object and
Mrs. John Fant was the win-
ner, on ladies jday Thursday,
October 27 th, at the Bellville
Golf and Recreation Chib Golf
Course.
Mrs. Fant has been steadily
dicing down the total number
of strokes it taken her to get
around the course and Thurs-
day she hooked the grand prize
by taking the day with the Low
Net Score.
There is always a standing

ville ladies on every Thursday

Golf and Recreation Club lo-
cated on Highway 36 (Bren-

Magazine, a National mag-

Diane has won 4 tro-
phies and 6 medals enter-
ing N. B. T. A. Contests.
She has been invited to
appear * in Foley’s Christ-
mas Parade in Houston on
November 24.
Baptist Group Meets
WMU of the First Baptist
Church met at the church last
week Tuesday, November 1,
for a business meeting and
plans were made to send cook-
toe to the Mexican Orphan
Home in San Antonio. Ten mem-
bers were present.
Tuesday, November 8 the
group met at the home of Mrs.
Zenith Verm for Bible Study
which was led by Mrs. A D.
Armentrout. Nine members
were present. Cookies, punch
and coffee were served.
