During the past twelve months,
the city has operated at an over-

according to the records, while
making more permanent improve-

On July 1, 1948, the general
fund was ‘$14,000.00 overdrawn,
with $3,774.00 in accounts out-

MOSCOW, UP)—"Pravda” said
in a leading editorial that "a
certain improvement” has been
achieved this year in the politi-
cal education of party members
and candidates.
“In the course of the gigantic
work of directing socialist con-

party has succeeded in training
hundreds of thousands of propa-

said that all propagandists answer
in their knowledge and experi-

on them.

traces of formalism and scho-

studies. Lively discussion is often
replaced by tthe question-answer

for the new scholastic year main
attention must be paid to im-

personnel.

more economical to maintain, but
