You are hereby commanded to cause
publication in the manner and for the
time prescribed by law of the follow-
ing notice to-wit:
The State of Texas and County of Cam-
eron To Charles B. Combe Jr. and to all
persons owning or having or claiming
any interest in the following described
hind delinquent to the State of Texas
and County of Cameron for taxes to-
wit: for the years 1896 and 189S an
undivided one half of Lots 1 2 3 i 5
and 6 in Block No. 39 in the City of
Brownsville Cameron County Texas;
2214. acres of land in Cameron County
Texas being a portion of the grant
originally made to Vicente H. de Yno-
josa and known as "Las Mestenas"
and being out of that part of "Las Mes-
tenas" situated in Cameron County and
known as "Ojo de Agua;" 232 acres of
land in Cameron County Texas being
a portion of the grant originally made
to J. S. de la Garza and known as "El
Espiritu Santo" which said land and
lots are delinquent for taxes for the fol-
lowing amounts: 11.38 for State taxes
and $3G.70 for County taxes and you are
hereby notified that suit has been
brought by the State for the collection
of said taxes interest and costs and you
are commanded to appear and defend
such suit at the September Term of the
District Court of Cameron County and
State of Tex.being the next regular term
thereof to be held at the court house
hereof at Brownsville on the second
day of September A. D. 1901 and show
cause why judgment shall not be ren-
dered condemning said lands and lots
and ordering sale and foreclosure there-
of for said taxes and cost of suit.
Herein Fail Not but have you before
said Court on the first day of the next
term thereof this Writ with your re-
turn thereon showing how you have
executed the same.

ly known as and called "Esriritu San-
to"; which said land is delinquent for
taxes for the years 1S87 18SS 1889 1890
1891 1892 1893 1S94 1895 1896 1897
and 1898;
309 acres of land in Cameron county
Texas out of that large tract originally
granted to Pedro Yillareal and known
as and called"San Pedro de Carricitos"
which saip land is delinquent for the
years 1S87 1S88 1889 1890 1891 1892
1893 1S94 1895 189G 1897 ami 1898;
which said tracts of land are delinquent
for taxes for the following amounts;
$03.08 for State taxes and $219.01 for
county taxes and you are hereby noti-
fied that suit has been brought by the
State for the collection of said taxes in-
terest and costs and you are command-
ed to appear and defend such suit at the
September Term of the District Court
of Cameron county and State of Texas
being the next regular term thereof at
Brownsville on the second day of Sep-
tember A. D. 1901 and show cause why
judgment shall not be rendered con-
demning said land and ordering sale
and foreclosure thereof for said taxes
and cost of suit. Herein Fail Not but
have you before said Court on the said

said Lots being situated in the City of
Brownsville Cameron county Texas
which said lands and lots are delinquent
