Wasn't Born. -
A boy of 12 large for his age
was being registered in one of the
public schools of Philadelphia. He
readily replied to the questions
asked but he did not know whether
his birthday fell on the 10th of
November or December. The
principal was surprised at this
display of ignorance on the part of
a child of his age and asked how
it came to pass that he hadn't
learned the date ot his birth.
"I wasn't born" said the boy
"I had a stepmother."
