Listen, folks houses are being broken into around the area. So, please be
on guard and watch out for your neighbors and yourself and keep those
characters away from your area. A good neighborhood crime watch needs
to be established in every neighborhood to help keep everyone safe from
these intruders. So meet with your neighbors and get acquainted, the area is
growing and you need to know your new neighbors and long time residents
as well.
Received a good telephone visit with former resident, Betty Kennedy.
She had not received her Tribune in some time and so had not been able to
keep up with any one for town news. She is doing fine, just recently had
catract surgery, which went very well, and her eyesight improved 100%.
Just wanted to say "Hello" and inquire about different ones.
Wow, the rain. It is wonderful to be have so much moisture. I am just
hoping it will continue into the summer. I know it has been hard on lots of
people but I can't complain and I won't. I prayed and begged for this all
summer and the summer before and the summer before, so I am so glad for
the wetness. All area ponds are full and the birds and wildlife are enjoying
the greeness. I don't believe I have seen this many birds in quite a while.
They are every where. In our new room it looks out into a large youpon tree
and it is covered with small birds most of the day. I love to watch them fight
and fly around and the noise is so sweet to hear. The woodpecker is still here
and so are the robins and a beautfiul red-wing blackbird came visiting today.
The mockingbirds are trying to run them all away for they think this place
is only for them. More rain on Sunday night but , Monday, what a day of
bright sunshine! I hope that you all got to enjoy.
Hey, if you have any news items, I would appreciate hearing from you.
Visitors from out of town or birthday parties or even if you would like a
birthday mentioned ,please give me a call at 817-866-2603 or e-mail me at
bjedwards@digitex.net. also my address is 9500 CR 204. Thanks a bunch!!!
