American Revolution is the period in history that
gave birth to the United States Navy. The United
States needed a force on water able to compete with
the power of the Royal Navy and then later to com-
bat piracy on the high seas. Through the academy a
midshipmen upon graduation is able to obtain a
groundout by Kasi Cummings and an RBI single by
Cummings.
The Lady Zebras added two more runs in the bot-
tom of the second with a clutch steal of home scor-
ing Emily Shoppell.
Two runs in the lop of the fourth helped Midlothian
close its deficit to 4-2. An RBI single by #10 and an
RBI single by #18 sparked Midlothian’s rally.
Finally. Meadows got #2 to fly out to end the
threat.
