8AN ANTONIO, Dec. 30.—Miss
Agnes Schnelle, ill from carbon
monoxide poisoning which a week
'ago killed her mother, Mrs. Sophia
Schnelle, and her brother, August
succumbed yesterday.
Neighbors went to the Schnelle
home after.several days bad passed
with no sigs of life about. The
two bodies and the unconscious girl
were found in a gas filled room.
An autopsy over the two bodies
disclosed that death was due to
carbon monoxide poisoning.

DENVER, Dee. 30.—Fifteen thou
sand rabbits were killed yesterday
in two Colorado counties as the
result .of rabbit hunt day, declared
by Governor Sweet, participated in
by 1,200 men and boys. Huntera
estimated that the day’s work
would net 20 tons of rabbit flesh.
The rabbits will be shipped to the
Sunshine Rescue Mission here for
distribution among the needy.
Albert Dobson, 14, was killed
when a rifle was accidentally dis-
charged in a wagon in which sev-
eral youths were riding. One hunt-
tr was shot in the hand by a stray
bullet.
Misa Sue Thomason left yester-
day for Waco, where she is attend-
ing Baylor University, after spend-
ing the holidays here with rela-
tives.

Isabel MeNutt, 72, who was in-
jured in the Christmas Eve fire at
Babb’s Switch schoolhouse, died at
her home four miles south of hero
today. Her death bring* the to-
tal of fatalities from the fire to
thirty-six.

LOR ANGELES, Dee. 30.—Aft-
er fighting flames aboard the Japa-
nese freighter Ginyo Mara, through
the night, the remnant of the
crew—30 men—left the vessel nt
daybreak today off the coast of
Mexico near Aeupulco to board the
rescue ship Julia Luekenbach,
which previously picked up 79 pas-
senger* and 73 members of the
crew, messages radio cast to sta-
tions here said.
Only the captain and his officers
remained aboard the burning ship
at daybreak. The passengers wore
sent into life . boats shortly after
midnight. The Luekenbach will
proceed to Manzanilo with the sur-
