collees and universities.I have jui t returned from the Dallas meeting :a t
"hich were present: I. H. Kempner, 3. H. F agadau, and
Eugene Solow as three of our five co-chairmen. Of the
D llas Com'ittee the following attended: George A.
Levy, Hfarry Kaplan, Harold Oster, Julius Purvin, George
Goldman and 4r. 3ol Brachman of Fort Worth.
Mr. Fred Florence, whom we visited after the meeting,
agreed to act as tre* surer of the Dallas campaign and
agreed to send out < letter urgingdonations in Dallas.
It .ras a highly successful meeting. Mr. Kermnpner ro-
posed the formation of a $25O.00 and over "Founders
Club" to be made up of some three hundred individuals
in the state of Texas, whose name4would be enscrolled,
upon a. plack in the new building. Those whose dona-
tions are less than that amount would be used I r the
furnishing of the building.
I am returning articles of the incorporation to be
retyped because of the changes in co-chairmenship.
Since we have heard nuthing from Mr. Levine, I would
suggest leaving his name off. Mr. Kem ner felt that
there should not be any erasures in the articles.
ill you therefore, substitute Eugene Solow for Mr.
Fred F lorence. We shall then send the articles of
Incorporation around to the co-chairmen to have their
signatures affixed and notarized.
ith cordial .nd -personal regards, I am
