Year’s Day. Parents of eligible

by, Merchandise Mart, Chicago,
Illinois. Wires must reach Baby
Derby headquarters by 2 p.m.,
CST, on January 1. Announce-
ments must be received by Janu-
ary 15. No entries will be accepted
after that date.

Miss Sharon Dickens, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Dickens of White
Deer recently took part in the
twenty-seventh annual presenta-
tion of the Hanging of the Christ-
mas Greens at Colorado Woman’s
College in Denver.
As a member of the choir, Shar-
on helped portray the medieval
Christmas pageantry in four per-
formances given for parents,
friends, Denver society and the
United States Air Force Academy
cadets. Over 90 students took part
in the show.

Twin girls born between mid-
night and noon New Year’s Day
will receive something better than
the proverbial “silver spoon.” As I
winners in the Ninth Annual Toni
Twin Baby Derby, each qualifying
twosome will be awarded $500 • in
gifts.
Lucky twin girls who beat the
deadline will receive a year’s sup-
ply of Gerber’s baby food, Trundle
Bundle infant’s wear, a special se-
lection of Love dresses, Storkline
cribs, Kantwet mattresses and'
Tour-A-Beds, an assortment of
Playskool educational toys, and a
Hedstrom twin baby carriage.
The odds are surprisingly favor-
able in this race with the stork.
If you or someone you know, ex-
pects a New Year’s Day arrival,
the chances are one in 528 that it i
will turn out to be Derby-winning j

bies, however, the long-legged bird
