The Woman’s Society of Chris-
tian Service of the Methodist
Church held a regular monthly
meeting Tuesday. Mrs. Fred Bur-
gin gave the devotional on “The
Mind that was in Christ.” Mrs.
George Latta was in charge of the
program, “Student Work,” and
“Institutions of Higher Learning.”
She was assisted by Mrs. Benton
Moreman, Mrs. Glynn D Harrell,
and Mrs. John Dwyer.
Plans were discussed for the an-
nual bazaar and food sale to be
held Saturday, Nov. 23.
Hostesses were Miss Hattie Far-
ley, Mrs. Leldon Hudson and Mrs.
Pearl Banks. Members attending
were Mmes. W. W. Brunais, Fred
Burgin, P. B. Farley, Blanche Har-
ris, E. C. Goodlett, O. P. Black-
