4. Name two teachers you believe impact-
ed your life in a positive way? In high
school the teacher that stands out to me the
most would have to be Mr. Looper. It was
through his classes that I gained my love of
agriculture. In college Dr. Harms will
always stand out in my mind. He was bat-
tling cancer the entire time I knew him but
always put his students first and made him-
self available to them for anything he could.
5. What would your students be surprised
to know about you? I think most of them
already know, but I love to collect and
restore antique tractors.
6. Name three foods that you don’t partic-
ularly care for, how about one of your
favorites? Three I don’t like would be
cooked carrots, com and bread and butter
pickles, my favorite would have to be chick-
en and dumplings.
7. I was once mistaken for.....I don’t think
I’ve ever been mistaken for anyone!
8. What vacation destination would you
like to return to someday? I would love to
go back to Alaska. We went when I was in
high school and it was one of the most beau-
tiful places I’ve ever seen, I would like to
share that with my wife.
9. Name something you believe will
become obsolete in ten years? I think in a
few years printers will become obsolete, as
everything gets closer and closer to being
