ducted Monday, December 13,
1954, at 1:00 p.m., in the Davis
Funeral Chapel at Georgetown,
with burial in the Cobb Family
Plot in the I. O. O. r. Cemetery
of Georgetown.
Mr. Cobb was born in Florence,

Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Rat-
Uff and sons presented Mr. and
Mrs. Floyd Daniel and Mark
with a beautiful Christmas
Tree. Mark, who is three years
old, became suspicious about the
tree thinking Santa Claus may
be coming most any time now.
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Elms vis-
ited Mr. and Mrs. Tom Mc-
Arthur Sunday.
Guests of Mr. and Mrs. O. A.
Evans last week were J. N.
Crook of Comanche, Bob Rey-
nolds, W. L. Conner, Mr. and
Mrs. W A, Elms and Mr. and
Mrs A. L Crawford
Floyd Daniel gave George and
Pearl Crawford a helping hand
when their pick-up broke down
at the Daniel's gate. They are
very thankful to him for his
assistance.
Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Bramblett,
Betty and Willagene and Mr
and Mrs. O. A.Evans visit at
the J. B. Bramblett home often.
Mrs. Bramblett has the measles
but is doing nicely.
Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Conner
visited Mr. and Mrs. Jess Ivy
Thursday afternoon.
Miss Lola Stevens of Goldth-
waite spent a few days with
her sister, Mrs. A. L. Crawford,
Mr. Crawford and William G.
Mr. and Mrs. Truman Vaugh-
an and J. H and Mr. and Mrs.
W. A. Elms were recent guests
of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Daniel
and Mark.
Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Evans vis-
ited Mr. and Mrs. Bill Borton
and family last Tuesday .
Mr. and Mrs. Lou Stanchke,
Mrs. Lena Wilticke. Mr. and Mrs.
Bill Partin and sons visited Mr
and Mrs. George Stanchke Sun-
day.
Mr. and Mrs. O. A. Evans at-
tended the marriage of Miss
Ruby Reynolds and Floyd Eid-
son of Sweetwater at the
Reynolds home.
A. L. Crawford and William
G. attended Miss Anita Jo Bur-
dett and Bill Parker’s wedding
at the First Baptist Church of
Mullin Saturday night.
Most everyone in this com-
munity went to town Saturday
to see Santa Claus. It was esp-
ecially happy time for the child-
ren.
Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lippe vis-
ited Mr. and Mrs. Lou Stanchke
and Mrs. Lena Wilticke Sunday
night.
It was nice visiting Mra. O B.
Hill in town Saturday after-
noon. She reports her mother,
Mrs. J. Everett Evans is quite
sick and she is helping care for
her. We hope she is much better
soon.
Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Conner
visited her mother and the Bill
Horton family last Friday.
Granny Huffman’s condition re-
mains about the same.
William G. Crawford visited
Ray W Harris Sunday after-
noon. The boys brought this
