The Oklahoma senate today passed
two railroad bills and advanced a
third to its final passage Nofsinger’s
demurrage bill, compelling railroads to
furnish cars without discrimination
was passed after a hard struggle, re-
ceiving nine out of the thirteen votes.
The Bone bill, compelling railroads
building within three miles of a county
seat to build through the county seat
was also passed, and Maxwell’s bill
creating a railroad commission is ready
for its third reading.
