water. Dissolve this. When this solu-
tion is cold add two fluid ounces 0,
alcohol; six grams of bichloride of
mercury and six grains of salammoniac.

many people who never take a hot
hath in summer This is a mistake.
An excellent regime for hot weather is
to take a sponge bath before break-
fast in warm salt water. You can pur-
chase this sea salt for a few cents a
. bag in any drug store—then In- the
. afternoon, before making your toilet
for evening, take a warm, cleansing
hath with a littie soap. If you have
i no bath tub in the house, a basin or
'foot tub can be used and the water
i shoud be warmer. To such a bath
’ It is well to add a little tincture of
; bezoin or almond meal.
I If the night has been extremely hot
I and you are unable to sleep, I can as-
sure you that a hot morning bath will
restore your vitality far more than a
cold plunge. A cold needle spray after
♦he hot bath is also invigorating.
