Section 37. DIMENSIONS OF SOIL
PIPES. The main soil or drain pipes
constructed to convey sewerage from
any building shall be not less than
our inches in diameter.
There shall not be connected to a
four inch sewer, main waste or house
drain, to exceed forty ordinary fix-
tures; and to a six inch pipe not over
thre hundred and thirty-six fix-
tures; to an eight inch pipe not over
eight hundred and, forty fixtures;.
If any building is constructed eight
stories or more in height up to and
including twelve Dstories, the vertical
soil or waste pipe in such buildings
shall be not less than five inches in
diameter.
One .water closet counts as four or-
dinary fixtures in figuring the carry-
ing capacity of soil pipes.
