Feed the Children, an
Oklahoma City-based interna-
tional relief agency, is seeking
donations of used ambulances
and medical equipment. The
donated ambulances and equip-ment will be used in countries
that are impoverished or
experiencing famine, flood,
drought, war and other calami-
ties. One unit donated by
Reliable Emergency Vehicles,
Inc., of Comanche, and given to
Juamave, Mexico, recently was
credited with saving the lives of
five missionaries. The unitresponded when the missionar-
ies' van collided with a large
truck in the Sierra Madre moun-
tain range. Other ambulance
manufacturers have also donat-
ed ambulances to Feed the
Children. Feed the Children
has provided assistance to all 50
states, the District of Columbia
and 74 foreign countries.South Texas has nine new EMS examiners, thanks
to a Del Rio course in July. From left, front row,
